_Shiptron Agmos AIS monitoring systems

AGMOS combines AIS Geo-fencing and MOB alarm.

Shiptron now offers the solution for every operator to guard the 500m zone for incoming vessels whilst the crew is also protected with an AIS-MOB alarm whenever an AIS-PLB is activated near the platform: AGMOS. The AGMOS consists of an advanced 19-inch AIS AtoN (Aid to Navigation) main processor unit that makes the platform, wind farm or obstruction on which AGMOS is placed, visible on the electronic sea charts for navigation on any ship within VHF coverage.The AGMOS display terminal can be placed anywhere within the existing Ethernet network, e.g. in the control room, radio room or onshore. The display terminal provides a visual representation of the area around the platform with the AIS targets. An active alarm is audible and visible on the display terminal. The number of display terminals is without restrictions within the same IP network and network mask.

 

_Jotron Air Traffic Control & Coastal radio

The range of base station radios from Jotron, are optimized for remote operation over trunk lines, LAN/WAN networks, serial interfaces or other line formats adapted or interfaced to the standards available on the radios. As radios comprising both 4W E&M and In-band signalling for audio, ie. VCCS providers can use preferred format for best system performance.

Jotron’s own range of remote control units, comprises units for audio, frequency selection and more sophisticated all radio access control. In addition, Jotron has its own advanced computer based Remote Control and Monitoring System (RCMS), intended for ATC or wide area control applications.

Presented on a graphical format, RCMS is an operational control and surveillance system for radio parameter settings, but also providing information of all connected equipment status.

Shiptron has worked with Jotron for many years, building Aviation Radio networks in the Offshore Industry.

_rhotheta RDF

DF systems used in VTS applications are usually remote controlled and operate in a network with other systems. Often times, three or more DF systems are used together for triangulation. Beside reliability and interoperability the system costs become more and more important. With its remote antenna concept the RT-1000 offers an unequalled price-performance relation.

The operation on sea requires high demands on the equipment. Salty water, high humidity, mechanical load and vibration as well as UV radiant exposure have a non-stop impact on electronic hardware. Rhotheta RDF are specially designed for this application. Rhotheta supplies highest reliability, even under rough conditions.

Shiptron has supplied Rhotheta RDF products for many years in marine and VTS systems, on lifeboats that have to endure the most severe circumstances and on lighthouses where reliability is most important.

_observator Meteo instruments

Observator develops and delivers sensors, services and turn-key systems for meteorological and hydrological monitoring. Deliveries can range from a single sensor to the installation of an integrated system of meteorological or hydrological measurement stations including telemetry and data processing. The Observator product range includes: anemometers, wind systems, helideck monitoring systems, rain gauges, weather monitoring systems, road condition sensors, water level & quality sensors, data buoys and many more.

Beside these instruments, Observator offers data presentation solutions including a complete display line (wind and weather displays) and software packages to collect and display data. With this software you can access the data whenever you want, wherever you are. Shiptron fully integrates your Observator Instruments in your Control Room system, making sure you have all necessary information available to assess every situation.
